InfoTek Perspective Services ("we", "us", "our") operates the voting platform that allows event organizers and owners to run contestant voting using Virtual Bank Accounts (VBAs). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you use our website, services, dashboards, and APIs.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account & KYC information: name, email, phone number, organization name, bank account details for payouts, government ID and CAC documents when required by bank partners.
• Transaction data: bank transfer references, amounts, timestamps, virtual account numbers, payment gateway transaction IDs. These are required to record votes and process payouts.
• Contestant & content data: contestant names, images, biographies, and optionally contact details provided by the organizer.
• Technical data: IP addresses, browser and device information, cookies and usage logs used to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use your information

• To provision and manage Virtual Bank Accounts and to receive payment notifications (webhooks).
• To convert transfers into vote counts, update live leaderboards, and provide reporting on revenue and transactions.
• To verify identities and comply with KYC/AML requirements demanded by our banking partners.
• To communicate account information, service updates, and security alerts.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity.
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

3. Legal basis and consent

By using our service and providing payment transfers to VBAs, you consent to the collection and processing of your transaction data for the purpose of recording votes and managing payouts. For account KYC, we process personal data where necessary for compliance with legal requirements.

4. Sharing and disclosures

We may share personal information with:

• Banking & payment partners (e.g., Monnify, Paystack, Flutterwave, Providus) to provision VBAs and handle payment notifications.
• Service providers and processors who support hosting, analytics, communication, and fraud detection (they act only on our instructions).
• Law enforcement, regulators, or courts when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage to support authentication, session management, and analytics. You can manage cookie preferences via your browser. Disabling cookies may reduce some functionality.

6. Data retention

We retain transaction records, audit logs and KYC documents for the period required by law and our banking partners, typically a minimum of 3–7 years for financial records. We will delete or anonymize personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS, firewalls, access controls, and encrypted backups. While we strive to protect user data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you accept certain risks when transmitting sensitive data online.
